Allotment of plots in Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority's housing scheme Hanumat Vihar and Govind Vihar will be online. Allotment of plots for those applying for both these schemes in Vrindavan area will be done through e-lottery. In this way the computer will decide through e-lottery who will get the plot and who will not. It is expected that registrations for this will start from the month of June. According to sources, the rate of Development Authority plot will be Rs 22 to 23 thousand per meter.
Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority is going to launch two new housing schemes in Vrindavan area. In this, Govind Vihar Residential Scheme has been developed in Jaint while Hanumat Vihar Residential Scheme has been prepared near Hanuman Ji of Ral Madhera. Both these residential schemes have been developed by the Development Authority on the land of the land owner/tenant under the Chief Minister Land Pooling Scheme. The land owner/tenant will be given a plot of his share on which he will be able to sell the plot at his own fixed rate. It is discussed that there will be a huge difference between their rates and the rates of the Development Authority. Development Authority Secretary Arvind Kumar Dwivedi said that both the schemes are to be launched soon. All its preparations have almost been completed. Online registration for the plots of both these schemes will be done through HDFC Bank. Ten percent of the cost of the plot will have to be deposited along with registration. He said that there are 249 plots in Hanumat Vihar Yojana while 133 plots have been earmarked in Govind Vihar Yojana. These plots will be in different sizes. In the first phase, there will be e-lottery of residential plots while in the second phase, auction of commercial plots will be done. Shops will also be included in this. Development Authority's OSD Prasun Dwivedi said that on Friday, a detailed discussion was held with HDFC Bank officials regarding the online system of both the colonies.
