Mathura. The Municipal Corporation of Mathura has now turned its attention to the unorganized hoardings and unipoles which are spoiling the appearance of the roads of Mathura Vrindavan, the place of birth and pastime of Lord Shri Krishna, and now it is their turn to transform them too. Municipal Commissioner Shashank Choudhary has decided to install LEDs and lighting poles for publicity on the pattern of Metro City, which will be visible only at designated places.

The game of hoarding and unipol is very old in Mathura Vrindavan Municipal Corporation area. A large number of illegal unipoles are installed on the roads. This disorganized unipolation and hoarding with the nexus of publicity agencies also spoils the appearance of the city. The Municipal Commissioner has decided to remove the hoardings and unipoles which are affecting the image of the city along with revenue theft and install them on the metro city pattern. Under this, LEDs will be installed at 10 places in Mathura Vrindavan, while unipoles with special lighting designs will be installed at other 74 places. In this, agency has also been decided for 26 places. Municipal Commissioner Shashank Chaudhary said that with this new system, QR code will be arranged to stop illegal hoarding. With this, any municipal corporation employee will be able to find out whether a particular hoarding is illegal.
